Hi, I'm Katy and I want to share a liberating challenge I set for myself 6 years ago!
Do you ever feel like you are stuck in a rut? Do you recall the fun things you used to do? Do you feel trapped by the same routine or fail to make time for the experiences you wish you could do? Welcome to Make Time.
In a nutshell, your To-Do List may share similarities with the popular 'Bucket List' movement. But it has one major difference. You don't base your plans upon when you 'kick the bucket' but make time for now.
Your To-Do List has basic rules:
1) You write down a list of experiences that you haven't done since childhood or have never done before
2) They are realistic experiences. An experience that can be completed, ticked off the list, at random, one a month, next month, year in, year out…
3) Your 'To-Do's' do not have to be costly. You could read a book you have never read, watch a film you have never seen, draw, paint, visit new places, learn a famous dance routine – just DO.
4) Keep a memory of these experiences. Keep tickets, photographs, maps or anything else associated with your experience to build your memories.
BUT THE HARD AND FAST RULE IS: MAKE TIME
Make Time. Just one thing, each calendar month, chosen at random. Step out of your comfort zone. Embrace new experiences and create memories that will last a life-time.
Make time for living, write your list and share your experiences
